Ted Dhanik co-launched engage: BDR in 2007. Today, he serves as president and CEO of engage: BDR. He has earned a degree in business administration and marketing from California State University at Hayward. In addition to his education, he offers more than 14 years of experience in online media. He has served as an advisor or on the board of directors for several companies, including LottoGopher, Schizo Pictures, and Fighter.
As head of his own company, Dhanik is responsible for many management positions within the firm. He oversees strategic marketing, sales and business development, client relationship management divisions as well as content acquisition. With his guidance, engage: BDR has been offering advertisers advanced technology and custom programming through combining display, video, and branded entertainment into one network. Dhanik also spent his time at MySpace creating several brands, including the MySpace Celebrity concept.
Before his five year stint at MySpace, Dhanik worked for various major companies, including LowerMyBills.com, where he developed and launched the firm’s home equity product. His major contribution to the new product brought in more than $20 million the first year, and $75 million the second year.
